The job will include performing PM tasks, machine repair, and project work.
Major Job Responsibilities:
·Assist in performing monthly preventative maintenance on production equipment & facility equipment
·Support production line in repairing process equipment, conveyor systems, facility equipment, etc.
·Plan & participate in equipment installations including conveyors, hoists, cranes, mezzanines, lift tables, etc.
·Plan and participate in the rigging and installation of production equipment including brake presses, turret punches, control cabinets, custom equipment, etc.This includes hooking up utilities such as compressed air, chilled water, gas lines, and hydraulic systems.
·Install and maintain machinery, including maintenance and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
·General pipefitting, Fabrication including cutting, welding, drilling, and light carpentry.
·Support assembly line in general and preventative maintenance as required including production equipment
·Must have hands-on experience with maintaining the production equipment in the Trane facility which includes cross training in most ofthe areas/equipment in the plant
·Will be available to work situational overtime for projects and team coverage as the business requires
·Welding experience is a plus.
·Experience with a broad range of industrial tools/equipment including fabrication equipment, PIV’s, etc.
·Basic electrical experience a plus.
·PLC and automated control systems exposure a plus – preferably Allen Bradley
·Automated systems experience a plus including robotics.
·Demonstrated team leadership skills through project assignments.
·Good skills in the following competencies: Leadership, Team Player, Planning & Organizing, Judgement/Decision Making, Communication, Project Management
·High School Diploma or GED Required
·3 - 5 years Industrial Maintenance experience required
·Must have LOTO training and experience
·College course work completion including an AA degree in technical field of study is a plus.
